Partnerships

We collaborate on short- and long-term projects with a range of public and private sector institutions who want to operationalize our SDG monitoring, SDG policy, geospatial analysis and modeling skills and experience.

  • OECD and European Committee of the Regions

    We work with the OECD and the European Committee of the Regions on localizing the SDGs. A joint survey and report was released in 2024 building on insights collected from 240+ city and regional leaders on SDG gaps and challenges at the subnational level. Learn more

  • World Health Organization

    Our team has worked with WHO Europe to produce a report monitoring the Ostrava Declaration on Health and Environment, analyzing data on environment & health SDG indicators for member states.

  • The Government of Benin

    We support the Government of Benin in monitoring and evaluating its to accelerating implementation of the the SDGs in the context of an SDG Bond framework. Learn more

  • UN Resident Coordinators in SIDS

    The UN Resident Coordinators in SIDS partnered with SDSN in Paris to strengthen the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index and assessing the SDG Financing Gap. These tools allowed the UN in SIDS to identify policies and practices for better SDG progress in certain countries. Learn more

  • European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)

    The EESC has worked with SDSN for years on monitoring SDGs in a European context. Preparing the Europe Sustainable Development Report facilitates dialogue with civil society and EU policymakers, and the results are referenced in in the Commission's first EU Voluntary Review. Learn more

  • Brazil's Instituto Cidades Sustentáveis

    SDSN is collaborating with Cidades Sustentáveis on an online data visualization tool that gives an overview of Brazilian cities and the SDGs, including Brazil-specific indicators. Learn more

  • Inter-American Development Bank

    We developed an SDG Impact Investment Toolkit to guide investment decisions for IDB projects in the infrastructure, social, financial and private sectors and their SDG impact. Learn more

Benin is the first country in Africa to have issued international bonds dedicated to the financing of high-impact projects for the achievement of the SDGs. SDSN and Benin are growing a network of universities and research centers to develop and strengthen the links between Benin and experts around sustainable development issues.

Partnership Frameworks

The SDG Transformation Center is an initiative of the SDSN, a non-profit organization. We are funded via donations and project partnerships and always seek to develop new collaborations. There are various ways to partner and work with us. We are also interested in learning how researchers and organizations use our work and instruments.
